Artist in Isolation [2021]

This piece is a self portrait reflective of an artist in isolation. In these uncertain times we have been kept confined. The intrigue of shared experiences and human contact has become a distant future. With the heaviness of an isolated world the imagination emerges vividly and if anything more prevalent now that movement is limited. In the mind's eye, landscapes are pushed to the forefront which seemingly are unattainable momentarily. A creative cannot feed off the confine of a vacuum, creativity inherently stops. I must, we must, push forward.
